The Al-Najaf al-Ashraf Strategic Studies Center, one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in the holy city of Najaf, recently organized two scientific and specialized sessions.

The first session, titled “The Reality of Workers in Iraq Between State Laws and Migrant Labor”, was attended by the heads of Iraq’s labor unions. The session was presented and moderated by Ms. Shimaa Mamouri.

In the second session, the legal department of the Al-Najaf al-Ashraf Center held a webinar entitled “Developing Criminal Policy in Light of Social Changes”, attended by over 80 legal and social activists from various provinces of Iraq. In this webinar, Ms. Hiba Jafar Khafaji, a professor at the University of Kufa, delivered a lecture, and the session was moderated by Ms. Ahood Eliasri.
