On Thursday, 4 Rabi‘ al-Awwal 1447 AH (August 28, 2025), another scholarly session of the Grand Marja‘, Ayatollah Sadiq Husayni Shirazi, was held at his residence in the holy city of Qom, with the participation of dozens of scholars, religious figures, and seminary students.
In this session, discussions and exchanges of views covered various topics, including:
- Whether a space that has been converted into a street still retains the rulings of a mosque.
- The ruling on learning music and the prohibition of music during mourning rituals.
- The permissibility of taking an interest-bearing loan in case of necessity.
- The consensus on the impurity of a Nasibi—someone who openly expresses enmity toward the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
- The ruling on making a child who is not yet responsible (non-mumayyiz) sacred (haram).
- The ruling on a person who makes a financial vow but lacks the means to fulfill it when the time comes.
- The ruling on a man being nude during mourning if women’s gaze may fall upon him.
- The ruling on publicly cursing and condemning the enemies of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
