The Ahlul Bayt Cultural and Charitable Institute, one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in the city of Basra, held a meeting attended by the members and officials of its Committee of Preachers and Missionaries.

During the session, the institute’s administration and committee members discussed several key topics, including: the importance of spreading the teachings of Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them, through religious lessons held in mosques and Husayniyahs to protect the youth from moral and religious deviation; reviewing the structure of preachers’ activities in Basra and providing them with necessary scholarly resources; planning the annual commemoration of the passing of the late Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Rida Husayni Shirazi, may Allah sanctify his soul; and organizing the yearly pilgrimage to the holy city of Qom to visit Lady Fatimah Almasumah, peace be upon her, and meet Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, during the blessed month of Rajab Almurajjab.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants emphasized the need for increased efforts and better use of opportunities in the path of religious and missionary activities.
