On the occasion of the International Day of Human Solidarity, the International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim), affiliated with the foundation of the Grand Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, issued a statement emphasizing the necessity of genuine solidarity among nations to confront ongoing humanitarian crises.
The statement, drawing upon Quranic teachings, described solidarity as an unavoidable necessity for the survival of humanity under current global conditions. It stressed that the wide-ranging challenges facing international peace and security require actions that go beyond slogans, through practical humanitarian assistance and active human rights efforts.
The organization expressed deep concern over the worsening humanitarian crises in various regions, noting that millions of civilians continue to suffer under the pressures of war, siege, displacement, and poverty, while international attention to their suffering has declined.
In another part of the statement, the organization underscored the importance of protecting civilians, lifting sieges on affected areas, activating preventive diplomacy, supporting local relief workers, strengthening human rights solidarity, and confronting the spread of hatred.
The statement concluded that the realization of global peace is inseparable from justice, equal opportunities, and genuine solidarity with vulnerable societies.
