In late Jumada Al-Thani 1447 AH, a series of charitable and cultural activities were carried out by the office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, and by centers affiliated with the Religious Authority in Afghanistan.

In the city of Kabul, the orphanage affiliated with the Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (P.B.U.H.) Complex distributed monthly cash assistance to more than 50 orphans from the families of martyrs and needy households. In addition, on the occasion of the birth anniversaries of Imam Al-Baqir and Imam Al-Hadi, peace be upon them, winter clothing was distributed to more than 200 orphaned children, in cooperation with the Martyrs Charity Foundation.

In Dehdadi District of Balkh Province, on the twentieth of Jumada Al-Thani, a joyful gathering was held to mark the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah Zahra, peace be upon her, at the Sayyiduna Qamar Bani Hashim Peace be Upon Him,Quran Center affiliated with the Religious Authority. The event was organized by the Religious Authority Office in Mazar Sharif and attended by a large number of believers and lovers of the Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them.

In the city of Mazar Sharif, the Religious Authority Office, in cooperation with the Al-Mustafa Cultural and Charitable Foundation, launched the first phase of coal distribution to needy families. Food baskets were also distributed to impoverished households.

The activities also included the implementation of a program providing free medical and therapeutic services to hundreds of patients in need in the same city.
