On the thirteenth of Jumada Al-Thani 1447 AH., a delegation from the Ahlul Bayt Cultural and Charitable Foundation in the city of Basra visited the city of Al-Zubair, where it met with Sheikh Muhammad Falak Al-Maliki, the representative of the Religious Authority in the city. During the meeting, both sides discussed avenues for joint cooperation in the cultural and media fields.

The meeting addressed ways to coordinate between the Foundation and Al-Marjaeyoun Satellite Channel, and to work toward implementing joint programs that serve the dissemination of the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them, and strengthen communication with the Religious Authority.

In the context of the same visit, the delegation met with Sayyid Abdul-Aal Mousawi, leader of the Shaykhi community in the city of Basra, Iraq. Both parties emphasized the importance of spreading the culture of the Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them, and strengthening religious and cultural activities within society.

At the conclusion of the meetings, Sheikh Sadiq Al-Basri, a member of the delegation, presented a collection of books and works by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, to those present, as an expression of continued connection with the Religious Authority and support for its activities.
