International Nonviolence Organization Emphasizes Alignment with UN Warning and Strengthening Human Dignity
The International Nonviolence Organization, known as Free Muslim, affiliated with the Global Foundation of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, issued a statement emphasizing its alignment with the recent warning of the United Nations and calling for the strengthening of human dignity and the institutionalization of the values of accountability and peaceful coexistence.
The organization stated that Islam firmly rejects any targeting of civilians, affirming that Muslims across the world continue to strive for peace, justice, and service to their societies.
Referring to the growing phenomenon of Islamophobia, the International Nonviolence Organization stressed that confronting hatred against Muslims requires collective responsibility beyond mere statements, and must be pursued through education, fair public policies, and the strengthening of effective social dialogue.
The statement also called on Muslims to adopt proactive measures to enhance the security and cohesion of their communities, emphasizing that civic and social participation, alongside charitable activities, are essential tools for breaking social isolation and countering negative stereotypes.
Furthermore, the statement underscored the importance of solidarity with other minorities affected by discrimination, noting that unity among victims of hate discourse is a decisive factor in confronting injustice. The organization also identified raising awareness, participation in civic and political life, and building positive relations with institutions and local representatives as fundamental elements in safeguarding basic rights.
