During the month of Rajab 1447 AH, the office of His Eminence, the Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, in the city of Mazar Sharif, Afghanistan, implemented several service, humanitarian, and cultural programs in cooperation with a number of institutions affiliated with the Religious Authority.

In the second phase of the winter fuel distribution project, more than 80 tons of coal were distributed to over 400 underprivileged and orphaned families, at a rate of 200 kilograms per family. This initiative was carried out in cooperation with Misbah Alhussein Relief and Development Foundation in Holy Karbala and the IHC International Foundation.

On the tenth of Rajab, a number of sheep were sacrificed with the intention of seeking safety for Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance, and praying for the hastening of his reappearance. The meat was distributed to underprivileged families, in cooperation with benefactors and through the efforts of the Religious Authority office in the city.

In addition, the office continues, in cooperation with Al-Mustafa Charity Cultural Foundation affiliated with Alrasool, peace be upon him and his family, to provide free medical and therapeutic services to hundreds of underprivileged patients in the city.

On the cultural front, a delegation from the Religious Authority office visited Alrasool Mosque, peace be upon him and his family, in the Shulgarah area of Balkh Province on the eighth of Rajab. The delegation met with the mosque administration and several of its members, during which emphasis was placed on supporting outreach and educational programs and following up on the affairs of religious centers in the region.
