The Al-Furat Center for Development and Strategic Studies, affiliated with the Religious Authority in Holy Karbala, Iraq, held its monthly specialized session at the headquarters of the Al-Naba Cultural and Media Institute. The session was attended by university professors, research center directors, writers, and individuals interested in political affairs.
During the program, Dr. Hussein Al-Sarhan, a researcher at the Al-Furat Center, presented a paper titled “Iraq and the 2025 Elections: Before and After Voting.” In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of examining pre- and post-election variables, stating that analyzing these factors plays a fundamental role in understanding the nature of the political system and the formation of Iraq’s future government after the elections.
