The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim), affiliated with Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, has issued a statement on the occasion of the International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism.

The statement is as follows:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The International Nonviolence Organization (Free Muslim), affiliated with Sayyid Sadiq Husseini Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, joins the international community in commemorating the "International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism" and emphasizes that the real battle against terrorism begins with the eradication of extremist ideologies before they evolve into destructive behaviors.

This organization believes that violent extremism is not just an isolated criminal act, but rather the product of environments conducive to its growth, which include:

Hate propagation: Unmonitored dissemination of hate on certain media platforms and religious pulpits.

Marginalization and exclusion: The lack of social justice, which drives youth towards desperation and into the arms of extremist groups.

Disregard for human values: The distortion of noble religious concepts that call for tolerance and coexistence.

On this day, the organization urgently calls on governments and international bodies to adopt preventive strategies based on the following:

Promoting a culture of nonviolence: Incorporating values of dialogue and acceptance in curricula and educational programs.

Community development: Addressing economic and political crises that extremists exploit to recruit followers.

Reviving religious discourse: Supporting moderate religious institutions in offering humanistic interpretations that denounce violence and promote social peace.

Rule of law: Ensuring justice and equality for all citizens, without discrimination, thereby blocking the path for those who foment division and strife.

Protecting dignity and human rights is the strong shield that protects societies from falling into the trap of terrorist savagery.

The International Nonviolence Organization reaffirms its commitment to continuing its efforts in promoting the culture of peace and reconciliation and calls on all active and living forces worldwide to join in building a future free from fear and intimidation, based on mutual respect among all humans.
