To commemorate the anniversary of the arrival of the captives from Prophet Muhammad’s Household in Damascus, Syria, the Center of Ahlul Bayt Peace Be Upon Them, one of the centers affiliated with the Religious Authority in the city of Mahajanga, in Madagascar, hosted a mourning gathering attended by believers.
The believers listened to lecture and elegies commemorating the suffering of Lady Zaynab, Imam Sajjad, and other members of Prophet Muhammad’s Household, may the blessings of God be upon them all.
The speaker highlighted the events that followed the martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad’s grandson, Imam Hussein, along with other family members and companions, peace be upon them, and explained the pivotal role of the captive caravan of Prophet Muhammad’s Household in preserving Imam Hussein’s message and conveying it to future generations.
