The Ahlul Bayt Peace Be Upon Them Cultural and Charitable Institute, one of the centers associated with the Religious Authority in Basra, Iraq, in cooperation with the Alfaiha Development and Progress Association, held a training course for educational and teaching staff in Holy Karbala, Iraq, entitled “Education and Teaching in the Islamic Understanding.”

The three-day course featured a lecture by Scholar Sheikh Sadiq Basri on the importance of education and teaching, particularly as the new academic year approaches. Instructor Jawad Alqatrani also led a training session on sustainable development and the keys to success in management.

During the course, the participants visited the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and Abu Alfadl Alabbas, peace be upon them. The delegation also met with the Director of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, in Holy Karbala and benefited from his religious guidance and recommendations.

As part of the program, the participants visited the Imam Hussein Peace Be Upon Him Media Group, as well as the Misbah Alhussein Peace Be Upon Him Institute, where they discussed ways to strengthen cultural and academic ties.

At the conclusion of the training course, Scholar Sheikh Sadiq Basri honored all the participants by presenting them with certificates of participation and a selection of gifts in recognition of their efforts to advance educational objectives.
