The book “Thank You Iraq,” one of the works published on the views and positions of the Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, was presented at the 2026 Baghdad International Book Fair.

Published by Misbah Alhussein Peace Be Upon Him Cultural and Charitable Institute as part of the “Misbah Series,” the book brings together a collection of statements, messages, speeches, and meetings of the Supreme Religious Authority of Shia Muslims, Ayatollah Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, concerning Iraq and its people.

Part of the book is devoted to the role of the Iraqi people in serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, organizing the Arbaeen pilgrimage attended by millions of people, and reviving the martyrdom rites of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. The collection also includes statements issued by his office in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, as well as recommendations made during meetings with Iraqi delegations and figures.

In addition to its written content, the book contains photographs documenting the meetings of Ayatollah Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, with Iraqi delegations and figures from various religious, seminary, preaching, tribal, intellectual, cultural, and political backgrounds. Meetings with representatives of charitable and humanitarian institutions and various organizations are also documented in the book.

Misbah Alhussein Peace Be Upon Him Cultural and Charitable Institute had previously distributed the book during the Fortieth Day Pilgrimage season among pilgrim service groups, service committees, and a number of delegations and guests.

The presentation of “Thank You Iraq” at the 2026 Baghdad International Book Fair provides another opportunity to introduce the book and share its content with visitors to the fair.
