The International Nonviolence Organization issued a statement on the International Day of Nonviolence, emphasizing the need to end armed conflicts and choose peaceful dialogue to resolve global crises.
The statement said that the language of weapons and war leads only to destruction and further complicates crises. Citing divine teachings, human values, and the Holy Quranic verse, “Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and engage them in the best manner,” the organization said that disputes should be resolved through wisdom, good words, and constructive dialogue rather than violence and the escalation of conflicts.
The organization also emphasized the importance of ethical and humanitarian principles and called on the international community and parties to conflicts to adopt dialogue as a strategic approach. It urged them to pursue fair negotiations and peaceful solutions in order to preserve human dignity, security, and human rights, and to prevent bloodshed.
