On Thursday, September 2, 2021, the Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in Kabul, the Capital of Afghanistan held a commemorative ceremony to honor the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). This ceremony was attended by cultural and religious figures, as well as the general public, whom listened to a lecture by Sheikh Shafiq. In his lecture, Mr. Shafiq outlined some important quality for a true believer, such as doing good deeds, having a forgiving nature, controlling one’s anger, repenting from past sins, and being charitable.
