In light of the recent developments in Syria that have left many believers displaced and vulnerable, the office of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, issued a statement granting permission to allocate the Imam’s Share (Sahm Imam) for aiding the displaced and affected individuals.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds. Blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad and his pure progeny.

The Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi, permits the allocation of all charitable funds and religious dues from the Imam’s Share (peace be upon him and may Allah hasten his reappearance) to address the needs and aspects of life for the believers, displaced families, and those affected in Syria.

May Allah grant relief to them and to all the oppressed in every place. There is no power or strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Great.
