The office of the eminent Shia authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi, in the city of Basra held a mourning ceremony on the anniversary of the destruction of the sacred graves of the Imams of al-Baqi (peace be upon them).
The event, held on the 8th of Shawwal, was attended by scholars, preachers, and lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt. The speaker honored the memory of the revered Imams of al-Baqi and reflected on their unjust treatment throughout history.
