To mark one of the most sorrowful events in Islamic history—the demolition of the holy shrines of the Imams of al-Baqi (peace be upon them)—a grand mourning ceremony was held at the Public Relations Center of the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hussaini Shirazi in the holy city of Najaf.

The event served as a reminder of an old wound in the hearts of Ahl al-Bayt lovers around the world. Attendees included scholars, academics, and faithful believers. Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ali Jabouri addressed the gathering, speaking about the oppression of the Ahl al-Bayt and condemning the open injustice of Wahhabism in the destruction of the al-Baqi shrines.
