On the morning of Sunday, 20 Dhu al-Qa'dah 1446 AH (May 18, 2025), another session of the daily scholarly gatherings was held at the blessed residence of the religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi (may his shadow be prolonged), in the holy city of Qom. The session was attended by scholars, seminarians, and followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

A wide range of jurisprudential, doctrinal, historical, social, and ethical topics were presented, along with interpretative questions regarding select verses from the Holy Qur’an. Grand Ayatollah Shirazi responded to each question with comprehensive and detailed answers.

Topics discussed included:

• The difference between Islam and faith (īmān),
• The ruling on praying in a usurped location out of ignorance,
• The proper method of performing the ritual washing (ghusl) of the deceased,
• The creation of Iblis and the devils,
• The validity and recommendation of Eid al-Ghadir prayer,
• Interpretation of verse 44 from Surah Sad,
• The prohibition of abortion,
• Categories and rulings related to poetry and poets,
• Refutation of the claim that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) ordered the killing of 700 Jews.
