As the Hajj season of 1446 AH approaches, the official activities of the mission (ba‘thah) of the Grand Religious Authority, Ayatollah al-Udhma Sayyid Sadiq Husayni Shirazi (may his shadow be prolonged), have commenced in the city of Medina.

As in previous years, during its stay in Medina, the mission will offer a variety of services, including:

• Answering pilgrims’ religious questions,
• Hosting religious and devotional ceremonies,
• Welcoming representatives of other grand religious authorities, as well as religious, cultural, and social figures,
• Providing support to the general pilgrims of the Holy Kaaba.

According to the official announcement from the mission, after concluding its programs in Medina, it will relocate to the city of Mecca, where it will remain alongside the pilgrims until the end of the Hajj rituals. The mission will continue to provide religious, cultural, and jurisprudential consultation services.
