The AhlulBayt Islamic Thought Center, one of the institutions affiliated with the religious authority in Baghdad, concluded its series of mourning gatherings commemorating the martyrdom of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Husayn (peace be upon him), on the evening of the 13th of Muharram.

The program began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Ahmad al-Bahadli, followed by a speech delivered by Sheikh Muhammad al-Zubaidi. The ceremony continued with elegies recited by the eulogist Husayn al-Jubouri, who evoked the tragic events of Karbala.

The gathering was attended by numerous believers and devotees of AhlulBayt (peace be upon them), who came together to pay tribute to the legacy and sacrifice of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him).
