Simultaneous with the days from the 6th to the 10th of Muharram 1447 AH, the Karbala Charity Institute, one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in the holy city of Karbala, carried out the second phase of distributing food supplies among a number of Hosseini groups and mourning stations in this sacred city.
This initiative was a continuation of the Karbala Institute’s efforts to support active Hosseini groups and mourning stations across the city of Karbala and its surrounding neighborhoods. On the 6th of Muharram, the institute’s team prepared special food supplies and distributed them among mourning stations located in the city center and suburbs, aiming to facilitate service to the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and Hazrat Abul-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
The services provided included the preparation and distribution of lunch and dinner meals during the first ten days of Muharram, commemorating the anniversary of the Ashura tragedy in 61 AH.
The Karbala Charity Institute team also continued its tenth consecutive day of field visits to various parts of the city, including the streets of Tarbiya, Bab Tuwaireej, Bab al-Khan, Bab al-Taq, Bab Baghdad, and neighborhoods such as Abbas, Al-Amel, Al-Hurr, Al-Mu’allimin, Al-Muwazzafin, Al-Ta’awon, Al-Nasr, Saif Saad, the Malhaq area, and the Eskan district.
At the conclusion of these efforts, the food supplies were handed over to the mourning station owners, who expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the institute’s support of this initiative.
