Following the recommendations and guidance of the esteemed Marja', Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi, the Ahl al-Bayt Cultural Charity Institute, one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in Basra, began visiting Hosseini gatherings and mourning stations in various parts of the city of Basra from the first day of Muharram 1447.

These visits, which continued until the tenth of Muharram, were conducted by a delegation from the institute, during which Hosseini service groups were inspected.

During these visits, the delegation members became closely acquainted with the activities and programs of the mourning stations during the first decade of Muharram.

At the conclusion of these visits, the Ahl al-Bayt Institute honored the sincere efforts and hard work of the members of the Hosseini mourning stations in serving the Hosseini culture by presenting a collection of gifts.
