The Alrasool Aladham Cultural and Charitable Institution, located in the Kadhimayn district of Baghdad, Iraq, held its annual memorial service on the 13th day of Muharram. This date falls three days after the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his followers, peace be upon them.

The service commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a homage prayer for Imam Hussein (Ziyarat Ashura), peace be upon him. Eulogist Thair Alkadhimi then delivered recitations that highlighted the historical suffering experienced by the holy household of Prophet Muhammad, blessings of God be upon them. The event concluded with prayers for the hastening of the advent of Imam Mahdi, may God hasten his advent.
