The Husseini Rites Committee, an organization linked to the religious leadership in Alshatrah County, Iraq, announced a high turnout for their ongoing events commemorating the second ten days of the month of martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The opening ceremonies featured a lecture by scholar Jamal Hasnawi, who stressed the importance of upholding the rites associated with the uprising of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. Elegies performed by Abbas Mosawi and Haydar Alkhuzai were also part of the event, paying tribute to the memory of the Imam and his companions, peace be upon them.

This gathering was attended by a large, passionate crowd of mourners and those who cherish Prophet Muhammad and his holy household members, may peace be upon them.
