Sayyid Aref Nasrallah, Director of the Public Relations Center at the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, welcomed a delegation of believers from Oman, along with religious figures and groups from the central and southern provinces of Iraq, at his office in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq.

The meetings focused on the importance of preserving and promoting the commemorative rituals of Imam Hussein and their role in strengthening the Islamic and humanitarian values for which Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, rose. Participants also emphasized the importance of supporting the service tents established for pilgrims during Muharram and providing a suitable environment for serving pilgrims and mourners.

Sayyid Aref Nasrallah stressed that the commemorative rituals of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, represent a complete school of self-sacrifice and reform, and that preserving and expanding these traditions in different countries is among the most important religious and social responsibilities.
