Despite the difficult conditions in the region, the Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas Peace be Upon Him Serving Station —a associated with the religious authority in the town of Houmin al-Fawqa, southern Lebanon—has commenced its activities for the month of Muharram 1448 AH. By raising Husseini flags and establishing a serving station (Mawkib), the staff reaffirmed their commitment to Ashura traditions and their dedication to keeping the memory and ideals of Imam Hussein alive, while serving those mourning the tragedy.
