Scholar Sayyid Hussein Shirazi welcomed an official delegation from the Union of Shia Satellite Networks and Radio Stations in the holy city of Najaf, Iraq, during their visit to the holy city of Qom, Iran. The meeting discussed ways to enhance religious media discourse.

Both sides reviewed the current state of Shia media and the methods of sharing the teachings of the Household of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon them, worldwide. They also emphasized the central role of institutions affiliated with the Global Rites Commemorating the Martyrdom of Imam Hussein Peace Be Upon Him in covering religious and cultural events.

Scholar Sayyid Hussein Shirazi praised the efforts of the union and stressed the importance of improving the quality of media activities, maintaining the ethical mission of religious platforms, and utilizing modern technologies. At the conclusion of the meeting, members of the visiting delegation expressed their appreciation for his time and guidance.
