The Grand Ayatollah Shirazi World Center in Canada is holding memorial ceremonies for the first ten days of the mourning month of Muharram. Each evening, the program begins with a traditional devotional text (Ziyarat Ashura), followed by group prayers and a recitation from the Quran by Mr.Rezaei. Lectures and accounts of the tragedy of Imam Hussein are delivered by Sheikh Saleh Sibawayh and Sayyid Musa Fali. The atmosphere is further elevated by Ahmad Sibawayh, who leads the mourning hymns and chest-beating rituals.
