The delegation of the Global Imam Hussein Peace Be Upon Him Communities and Pilgrim Service Groups Foundation continued its activities in Basra, Iraq, including the Garmat Ali area along the pilgrims' route, on the first day of month of Safar.
During the visit, the delegation met with Scholar Sheikh Nizar Hassan, director of the office of the Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah Shirazi, may God prolong his life, in Basra, Iraq. The discussions focused on services being provided to pilgrims and preparations for the Fortieth Day Pilgrimage.
The delegation also visited several Pilgrim Service Groups, including Alqasim Peace Be Upon Him, Khuddam Alhussein Peace Be Upon Him, Alzahra Peace Be Upon Her, and Hamidah Daughter of Muslim son of Aqeel Peace Be Upon Her, expressing appreciation for their dedication to serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein peace be upon him.
The delegation later visited the Imam Hussein Peace Be Upon Him Media Group's mobile broadcasting unit stationed along the pilgrims' route. Since pilgrims began their journey from the Alfaw District toward the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, the unit has been providing live coverage of the pilgrims' journey and mourning gatherings along the way, continuing until the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein peace be upon him.
During all of these visits, the delegation conveyed the greetings, prayers, and recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority Ayatollah Shirazi, may God prolong his life, to the managers of the pilgrim service groups and their hosts.
